Well i got a question for you guys, what exactly is the easiest way to change the TPS? I attempted to do this job here today but had no luck. couldn't get to the bottom bolt on the sensor. Thanks in advance!

By the way its a 1992 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Convertable with a 3.1 liter v6.

Well, if there is no way to get to the bottom bolt (and I know its tight in there) try taking the TB off it's another 2 13mm bolts.

Yea you have to take the throttle body off. Dont remover the linkages tho, you dont need to.

Cool thanks for the advice. What exactly do i need to do to remove it. I dont have to drain any coolant or any thing along those lines do i? I saw that there was some sort of hardline connected to the throttle body but i wasnt sure what it was, any suggestions?

I just finished doing this, take out the 2 13mm bolts holding the throttle body on. Once they're out you will be able to rotate the throttle body so you can unscrew the two torx bolts that hold on the TPS. Put the TPS sensor on, make it fit then rotate it into position. Put it all back together, Torque the 13mm TB bolts to 18 ft.lbs. Pull the ECM Fuse and relearn the idle. (in FAQ section) and your ready to go.

While you got the throttle body off, do the throttle body coolant bypass mod. It'll make removing your TB that much easier next time.
