AWeb80
I want to swap them in....no custom ones I called a dealer and he said there are 2 different lengths for the 2,4,6 plugs. Anyone know?
Grand Moff Joseph
I got my new wires from AutoZone. The wires in the set will all be of different lengths to reach the proper plugs. Also, do NOT use Bosch brand wires. Not only do they look cheaper than the "Ultra Spark" brand wires that I bought, but they are not in the right lengths to fit our cars (well, not a 3.1 anyway) Hope that helps! -Joe
pwmin
i got my magnecor's here: http://www.apexperformance.net/cartgenie/prodInfo.asp?pid=598&cid=10 those are for the 3.4x though.i got 8mm(blue), but they also have 7mm (stock size) and 8.5mm (red). also 10mm but there's no pt. and not sure if have them for the gp. look at cgp in the 88-96 mods post. also search here for magnecor. i have pix on my cardomain. if you dont get them, def go to advance or something and get delco. dont use anything else. dont skimp. they're like 100 a set. Grand Moff Joseph
Why get wires that are bigger than the stock size? Does that offer a performance boost??
pwmin
performance boost? less resistance. theoretically, yes, but practically, not much. not sure about the length differences. doesnt make sense, but it's easy if you get the wrong ones with your engine. the 246 are the fronts too , uh iirc, which is even easier. gp90se
the autozone lifetime wires are damn good for the price, and every 2-3 years, bring them back for replacements, LIFETIME WARRENTY MEANS LIFE TIME

mfewtrail
Advance Auto carries factory AC Delco wires. You can order online from their http://www.partsamerica.com website if you don't have a store near you. They're around $50 for a set and carry a lifetime warranty. 8)
