SnowDrift
Do these factory flares bolt to the fender like on the '88-98 K series Chevy/GMC trucks? The trucks have a similar flare with a bar and four studs which bolt though the back side to hold the upper part of the flare in place. Removal of the front fender is almost a must for taking the flares off the trucks. How are the flares (front and rear) installed on the Grand Prix cars with the B4U pkg.? Thanks, SnowDrift
THe_DeTAiL3R
On my car it's just held on by plastic clips. The clip "snaps" into a hole in the fender, and the flare slides over it. Only a couple screws on the bottem actually hold it together. I think it's similar to 94-96 only difference is the clips may be metal, not sure. Just be careful removint them if they're plastic or they'll bust.
Schudini
Here is a pic with the fender flare removed. You can see one of the metal clips that holds it on. There are 3 screws underneath the flare that secure it. http://www.w-body.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=34244
