Kevinsluminaeuro Posted October 8, 2005 Report Posted October 8, 2005 does anybody have or know anybody who has put the lowering springs they offer on there car and if so do they compare to intrax and are they suggested at all ? Quote
Euro Posted October 8, 2005 Report Posted October 8, 2005 i think they're pretty similar...but IIRC either the company or just the springs that'll fit the W body got discontinued Quote
Kevinsluminaeuro Posted October 8, 2005 Author Report Posted October 8, 2005 so my best bet now is to just got with the st springs for the 80$? Quote
pwmin Posted October 8, 2005 Report Posted October 8, 2005 no more st. my car has it. if you can find them, mine has them. look here: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/500303/5 Quote
terryk2003 Posted October 8, 2005 Report Posted October 8, 2005 yeah, i don't think u can get the ST springs anymore...you'll probably have to go with the intrax...u DO know that those springs are only for the front, right? Quote
DiscoStudd Posted October 8, 2005 Report Posted October 8, 2005 The ST's were discontinued. I ordered a set of ST front springs back in February from JC "Shitney" and they kept sending me "we're waiting on the shipment" notices until they finally told me in May that the line was discontinued. So if you want to lower the front of your car, you'll have to go with the Intrax springs. Lowering the rear is a whole different story... Quote
GnatGoSplat Posted October 10, 2005 Report Posted October 10, 2005 ST springs are very different looking than Intrax. I'll bet they ride differently as well. ST springs are REAL stiff. I don't know about the Intrax. Quote
pwmin Posted October 10, 2005 Report Posted October 10, 2005 the intrax are progressive, unlike the st (iirc). so, they will be softer ride until you corner and then they will stiffen up. i dont think mine are too bad though. the rear coilovers and gr2's make it the stiffest. Quote
