GnatGoSplat
You could change 'em, but I doubt it'd make much difference.
99RegalGS
Yeah, the plug electrodes themself don't look that bad. If you change them be sure to use AC Delco.
THe_DeTAiL3R
OMG you should have seen the plugs I pulled from my Sister's Sunfire. The valve cover was leaking oil all over then, it was pretty bad. Aside from the rust those don't look that bad.
LukeZ34
May as well change them since they cost like a buck each.
GutlessSupreme
Don't go to Napa for the Delcos. They'll tell you the part number was superceeded, which it wasn't, and will give you plugs that are too hot. Trust me.
jeremy
I would change them but like mentioned above don't expect too much of a difference, those don't look that bad I still want a Turbo......
digitaloutsider
I take it you never saw the 170,000 mile plugs I pulled out of the GP..
john99gtp
well i need to do something, the TGP is acting very weird right now, and its gotten worse since i put the cone filter on. it feels like overboost/misfire, but its not throwing a SES. it just goes power...no power...power...no power you can hear it in this video http://www.metrocast.net/~jbarbieri/tgp/tgp2.avi look how long it takes to get through first gear! not to mention the cfamera goes with it to, back and forth :? digitaloutsider
I'd do the fuel filter, spark plugs, and run a bottle of GM Top Engine Clean or Seafoam through. That's terrible! I thought I was watching a video of my old 3.1 GP!
GP1138
That sounds like it's missing pretty bad. You sure all the plug wires are tight? Yeah, do the GM TEC or Seafoam. On top of being good for your engine, it's fucking hilarious driving around afterwards like Batman smoking in people's faces.
john99gtp
the 2 times ive done TEC, it hasnt been THAT bad with a turbo, where do i suck it in? or does it matter? (brake booster hose?)
GutlessSupreme
the 2 times ive done TEC, it hasnt been THAT bad with a turbo, where do i suck it in? or does it matter? (brake booster hose?) There isn't a brake booster hose with PM3 ABS. I'm still trying to figure out if it was decided that that stuff's good to put through turbos.. I dunno where else you could do it. Maybe disconnect the vacumm line to the trans on the plenum near the tb, stick a hose on there and let it slowly suck up from there. digitaloutsider
On the Bonneville, I always used the line that runs into the car to control the vents. Maybe you can use the CC line?
Kalgorn
I sucked the Seafoam directly into the TB. Worked for me.
