no egr=no ses??

well.

 

mine would come on about 15-20 minutes into a drive and stay on till i shut off with the EGR removed.

 

I love my egr problem!

I have the same problem. just too lazy to fix it properly and or get a chip

Ive noticed if you keep the rpm's under 2000 you won't see the SES light..

perhaps its a vacuum thing. when you get going highway speeds the piece of carbon gets sucked into the egr and sticks it open. regardless, i think i'll have my mechanic do a top engine cleaner when i get him to flush the coolant/anti-freeze and replace it with some potent -40ºC shit
