19Cutlass94 Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 http://www.centerlinewheels.com/wheels_detail.php?mw_id=16&sw_id=86 I absolutly love this rim. I would have gotten it, but it didnt come in 16" and my dad was like if your gonna put wheels and tires on your car, you are going to stay with the stock size :? But if for some reason I need new rims, these babies are it. I want to see how it would look (like on a cutlass!) but on any car. And hey you guys looking for rims, heres one suggestion for you! jdcutty Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 Not too bad. Tell your dad with larger rims, the car will ride nicer and handle better (of course depending on the tire you choose). Quote
1990lumina Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 That's wierd how they skipped over 16" (15", 17", etc....) Quote
19Cutlass94 Posted October 3, 2005 Author Report Posted October 3, 2005 yeah it is weird, when I first saw that I was like WTF? And my dad knows Im not the type of guy to put like 19's or 20's on something. The largest rim size I would go is 18's. But prolly 17's on a car (depending on car) But yeah Im surprised I havnt seen those rims on any car yet. Those were actually the first I found. I though for sure someone (maybe or maybe not on w-body) would have had them by now Quote
pwmin Posted October 4, 2005 Report Posted October 4, 2005 they look good, but centerlines can be sorta expensive. i prob would go with konig or something a little cheaper if i bought wheels. Quote
SigEpCutlass Posted October 4, 2005 Report Posted October 4, 2005 you want to buy them for me? lol Quote
J Posted October 4, 2005 Report Posted October 4, 2005 didn't the guy that posted his and his bro's Z34's have centerline rims on one of them? I LOVE THOSE RIMS that you posted the link to, Just order them and then buy the tires and don't tell him the size Quote
19Cutlass94 Posted October 4, 2005 Author Report Posted October 4, 2005 omg yeah I should just buy em and put em on before he notices lol But I dont have that kinda money right now. But damn. Really want those. not to say I dont like the rims I have now, cuz I like them just as much. Quote
THe_DeTAiL3R Posted October 4, 2005 Report Posted October 4, 2005 They look like they'd be better suited for a Camaro then a w-body, they're different but look good I dunno Quote
kuntzie Posted October 4, 2005 Report Posted October 4, 2005 159 each for the 17's-- said they have ab overstock of 17's-- priced to sell Quote
Brian P Posted October 4, 2005 Report Posted October 4, 2005 they kinda resemble a GM steel wheel from like an astro van or something: Quote
Schudini Posted October 4, 2005 Report Posted October 4, 2005 They are only 7"wide. When I replace my x-laces, I want something wider than stock like 8.5" Quote
19Cutlass94 Posted October 5, 2005 Author Report Posted October 5, 2005 My rims are only 7" wide and my tire is like 7.5" wide and its gotta be within an inch of the trailing arm so I dont think I could fit a wider rim on my car. Quote
Prospeeder Posted October 5, 2005 Report Posted October 5, 2005 oh, u can, lol, we fit 8 inchers on our GPs and some guy in a Lumina, u can do it on a cutlass Quote
nebojsa_o Posted October 5, 2005 Report Posted October 5, 2005 Those do look pretty cool. Why does your dad care, is it your car or his?? Also, now you got me worried, will my x-laces fit on my Cutlass?? Quote
19Cutlass94 Posted October 5, 2005 Author Report Posted October 5, 2005 lol must be awful close! Quote
badassoldspower Posted October 8, 2005 Report Posted October 8, 2005 I have 18x8 on my car and 245/40-18 tires it all works great. Quote
