Am I the only one here who has a car that is held together by rust? I don't ever have to worry about nuts/bolts coming out because they are all corrosion-welded in.

When I did my brakes I stripped both my torx bit and the caliper bolt, tried propane torch with no luck, and finaly had to bust out the cutting torch and heat it up to red hot then reef on the breaker bar with all my might to get it out. My rear struts decided to go completly out (and I do mean completly, as in when I put the car up on the jack one of the rear wheels stayed up in the wheel well) so I was trying to get them done today. I started on one side and both of the top bolts broke off and I could not hammer out the bottom strut bolt for anything. It was enough work just getting the nuts off the bottom bolts. I exploded 1 socket with the breaker bar before going and getting an impact socket. I am up at school with no garage so after 4 hours in the snow and cold with zero old struts removed I said screw it and drilled out one of the upper bolts, put in one grade 8 bolt/nut and drove 'er to the shop.
