Kurt
i looked up a pully for my 99 gtp and i was wondering if i bought this and put it on what i have to do to tune it. Also if anybody has gotten an after market pully does your mpg go up or down? Also will i need a new belt? And does anybody know if they make a self tuning program that i can use to tune after i would put a new pully on.
J
u'd have to re gap the plugs at the very least. A old friend of mine didn't and put like a 2.8 pulley on it and he had some major problems, even after i told him. You might want to ask the L67 guys over at glub gp ( ) or you could pm the few lucky fucks that have them here. Good luck
5speedz34
or you could pm the few lucky fucks that have them here. Good luck PFFFF...lucky fucks. The L67 is a bitch because it has wads of knock retard and putting a smaller pulley just increases that. I would do supporting mods with the pulley ie-different plugs, pcm along with it so you can get the best effects out of it with out possible engine damage. sl3196
So are you stock at the moment?? Need at the least to run a 3.4 pulley: U-bend Intake 180 t-stat colder plugs DHP (dont buy intense because they suck) SCANNER!! Actually just buy a scanner first and see how much kr you have now. Some people (like john lol) do all the right mods and still have kr out the ass. Make sure the car is tuned up well too. Like get new plug wire and do a top engine clean on it.
