jazic3.4 Posted September 27, 2005 Report Posted September 27, 2005 For a 1992 Z34 Where is a good spot to put a cutoff switch? What wire is the best one to splice into, where is it located, and what color is it? Quote
Dan94Z34 Posted October 1, 2005 Report Posted October 1, 2005 cut off switch for what? If you want one for the engine, why dont you just hook the power to the fuel pump on a toggle. No fuel no go. Quote
gp90se Posted October 2, 2005 Report Posted October 2, 2005 if your looking for a free way 2 keep the car from going anywhere, pull the 15 amp fuse out for the ECM. If you want to wire in a switch, find the main power wire under the column (red i think) splice it and hide a switch in the center console or up on the sun visor. Quote
1990lumina Posted October 2, 2005 Report Posted October 2, 2005 Or wire up the starter to an air vent so say you have to push said vent up in order to start vehicle, then after adjust it to whatever you like. My buddy has this on his Camaro that the previous owner installed. So far worked good. Quote

My buddy has this on his Camaro that the previous owner installed. So far worked good. I knew I wasn't crazy... is there a camaro board link explaining how he did it? I've had that on my mind for the past few days but didn't know where to begin searching for it. Quote
