"Memory steer" likely causes?

Recommended Posts

After making a left turn, feels like it's pulling to the left. After making a right turn, feels like it's pulling to the right. Any worn suspension parts known to cause this? Had a 4-wheel alignment, tie rod replacement, and new tires, but this did not correct.

My Lumina had some memory steer. The shop said I needed my strut bearing replaced (i think thats what he called it). Its fine now so I guess that was the problem.

that is the most common cause of memory steer..... but a bad rack/loose fron end parts can cause it, and caster being out of spec will cause the car to wonder and have memory steer.....

I had it on right turns only....it was the steering rack, the piston inside it wears out and odd things can happen like that
