88Intl Posted February 21, 2003 Report Share Posted February 21, 2003 After making a left turn, feels like it's pulling to the left. After making a right turn, feels like it's pulling to the right. Any worn suspension parts known to cause this? Had a 4-wheel alignment, tie rod replacement, and new tires, but this did not correct. Chinski Posted February 21, 2003 Report Share Posted February 21, 2003 My Lumina had some memory steer. The shop said I needed my strut bearing replaced (i think thats what he called it). Its fine now so I guess that was the problem. that is the most common cause of memory steer..... but a bad rack/loose fron end parts can cause it, and caster being out of spec will cause the car to wonder and have memory steer.....
