IBuiltMine-o1oo Posted September 25, 2005 Report Posted September 25, 2005 Ok, i seen the intro page with all the w body models. is that list all inclusive? What about the regal with the supercharged 3.8? the caddilac catera, all the vans, and anything else to run the 2.8, 3.1, 3100, 3400, any of the 3.8's, or any other version? i want info here so i can start watching for 'doaner vehicles' i know some people who know some people who rob some people! no, theres this crooked tow truck driver in Kimball nebraska,, named shaddeg, and he litterally has hundreds of cars hes pulled off the interstate for as little as being out of gas, then he hideds them out at his farm, and just parts them out! mihela816 Posted September 25, 2005 Report Posted September 25, 2005 The website was never complete in it's list, and that list has grown larger since the last update. Cars like the Lacrosse, pictures of the new Impala and Monte Carlo, etc are not on the site. Gimme Shaddeg's address and I'll deal with him Quote
ToroToro Posted September 25, 2005 Report Posted September 25, 2005 The Catera is RWD, so you can rule that out... Quote
ShockTherapy Posted September 25, 2005 Report Posted September 25, 2005 catera's a G-body i think... Quote
ToroToro Posted September 25, 2005 Report Posted September 25, 2005 No, G-body is large GM FWD cars.. ( Park Avenue, Aurora... ) I dont think the Catera has a body designation, since it's technically a foreign car. Quote
IBuiltMine-o1oo Posted September 25, 2005 Author Report Posted September 25, 2005 the catera is an FWD impalla....it even has the 3.5 Quote
ToroToro Posted September 25, 2005 Report Posted September 25, 2005 The Catera was on the same platform as the current GTO is on. It's RWD, trust me. They used an Opel 3.0L DOHC V6, BTW. Quote
ZoomZoomFan Posted September 25, 2005 Report Posted September 25, 2005 So, the new Impalas and Montes are still classified as W-bodies? Is the Lacrosse a W-body too? Quote
terryk2003 Posted September 25, 2005 Report Posted September 25, 2005 So, the new Impalas and Montes are still classified as W-bodies? Is the Lacrosse a W-body too? yes...they are all w's Quote
NOHC_WBody Posted September 25, 2005 Report Posted September 25, 2005 the catera is an FWD impala....it even has the 3.5 That's kind of funny, seeing as how we already HAVE a FWD Impala lol redundant mistake Quote
IBuiltMine-o1oo Posted September 26, 2005 Author Report Posted September 26, 2005 ok, maybe its not the catera, but caddy has a v6 fwd vehicle...what is it? and im almost sure is a w body, or like the bigger cars like the aurora... Quote
THe_DeTAiL3R Posted September 26, 2005 Report Posted September 26, 2005 There is no Caddy w-body. Maybe you are thinking of the Olds Intrigue? Quote
ZoomZoomFan Posted September 26, 2005 Report Posted September 26, 2005 yes...they are all w's Cool. I was pretty sure the Monte/Impalas were, but I wasn't sure about the Lacrosse (<- sexy a$$ car, btw.) Quote
ToroToro Posted September 26, 2005 Report Posted September 26, 2005 The ONLY V6 FWD Caddy I can think of is the Cimmaron...but I'm sure you dont want anything to do with one of those. Quote
GutlessSupreme Posted September 26, 2005 Report Posted September 26, 2005 Isn't the Catera a j-body? Quote
THe_DeTAiL3R Posted September 26, 2005 Report Posted September 26, 2005 believe it's an N-body, but i could be wrong Quote
GutlessSupreme Posted September 26, 2005 Report Posted September 26, 2005 believe it's an N-body, but i could be wrong ! That's what I meant.. couldn't think of what it looked like, then I remembered Malibu/Cutlass.. So unless Caddy just got an entirely new version of it, it's FWD... Quote
pwmin Posted September 26, 2005 Report Posted September 26, 2005 the caterra is rwd, v6, and i'm not sure it has a body designation, since it's not an american gm vehicle. dont know of any fwd v6 caddy, except the worthless cimmaron. Quote

Guest TurboSedan Posted September 26, 2005 Report Posted September 26, 2005 the 3.4L DOHC engine was a W-body only engine. Quote
