Supreme Cutlass
what's a good set of front speakers for about mid- low price? (btw, what size are they in a 92 olds supreme sedan,)
19Cutlass94
In the dash right? then yeah 4" The only speakers I would buy are Infinity, JBL, Alpine, and maybe Polk or JL Audio. But all of those are probably a little more than mid to low price.
THe_DeTAiL3R
Find lower-end (or used) Infinity, JBL, Alpine, and maybe Polk or JL Audio

19Cutlass94
I have the Infinity Reference, but the old style ones, not the new ones. I personally think they sound great!
Supreme Cutlass
is it just a fluke that crotchfield says they won't fit?

1990lumina
I installed some 4" JL Audio evolution TR400-CXi last night and love them....they sound pretty decent for the price I paid and have good sound reproduction considering I'm running my a factory H/U running to a cheap Clarion amp, lol... But yeah, everyone has said the brands I'd recommend...I just bought the JLs because I got a good deal on them, and they sounded good when I listened to them at the store. - Jeff L. pwmin
i had cheap boston acoustics and they sucked. their stuff is good though. i would just go with infinity reference for a good, cheaper speaker. dont know if you can get a plate speaker with separate woofer/tweeter. i got inifinity kappa 4x6 plates in my camaro. theyre pretty good. 1990lumina
My friend has 4x6 Infinity Reference' in my cavy and they sound damn good considering he's powering them off the factory deck. So, the Infinity's sound great as well!
