frusciante fan
ok so i get in the car to go to work after school today, everything's hunky dory. i turn the key to the on position to check the clock and then i hear the fans running for the diagnostic thing. oh shit. so i grab my paperclip and i get a code 69. however there is no code 69. i've checked this three times with my car and am positive this is the code. so i start the car up and drive fine, no problems, and no SES light. wtf? summary: no SES light, but code 69 is stored for some reason. car functions fine and nothing is out of the ordinary. only thing i've done different is fill it up with different gas this time. mid-grade kwiktrip. frusciante fan
all right my car is fucking with me. i just went out there to test the a/c. i turn the key to the on position and the diag. doesn't run. so i start the car. turn on the a/c max and get ice cold frickin air. let it run for about 30 seconds and turn the key again and the diag. doesn't run. i guess i'll just wait and watch. i think i'll just start her and let the a/c run on max for 10-15 min tomorrow night. only used it a handful of times since i got it. and only once in the last 6 months. Kalgorn
How did your diagnostics check turn on by itself without inserting the paperclip first?

GP1138
It doesn't matter, the fan shouldn't come on, that has nothing to do with diagnostic mode if you haven't shorted the ALDL. You've got some other problem on your hands.
