Regal_GS_1989
If its just missing the glass, you shoud be able to buy a replacement glass that just gets glued in place, If it is the whole assembly, i Beleive that it is held in by either 2 or 3 screws on the bottom of the mirror housing. I'm guessing that this is on your grandprix, right??

Supreme Cutlass
Two screws on the bottom. For the ENTIRE thing, the screws are behind the door trim panel.
THe_DeTAiL3R
2 or 3 bolts hold it on. Take off the door panel (on GP anyways). My glass was cracked so I took the mirror off and brought it to a glass place, they put on new glass for $20.

MonteC
can i just pop a new mirror in it? pop one out of my parts car and pop it into my daily drivers housing?
Justin
That's way different from my CS. Is that a manual mirror? The CS has an X shaped metal piece that is used for the hinge between the glass and motor, it just clips into each piece.
MonteC
ya its manual, well to the point that you have to move a knob in the car to move the mirror. see the knob on the right hand side of the picture?
Bolt_Crank
you should just be able to get the glass glued onto that... there's pretty much no way to take that bracket out, and be able to put it back in... unless you do some fancy drilling and the like... I think, anyway,
MonteC
shouldnt there be some prongs or something that fit into those middle holes? so you can just push the mirror into place?
