Calvin
I can't answer that question for certain but I can tell you I got one and put it on my lil old 2.8 and even though the engine has over 155000 miles, that 10.99 oil filter keeps all the crap out of the oil, at oil change time it looks like it just went in. From what I am seeing I would highly recommend the Mobil filter.

Brian P
if the 101 is listed for a 3100 w-car then it's just the shorter version of the 24011/PF52 which is the "10111" (purolator numbers) of PF47 delco. They are both interchangeable within limits
digitaloutsider
There's no point in spending that kind of money for the filter. It's designed and built by Champion Labs (STP, AC Delco, SuperTech, Champion, etc.). While it truely is a unique design, and filters better than conventional paper filters, the Purolator PureOne is still an overall better filter design and also filters and flows better. The Ford Motorcraft filters are essentually just PureOne filters in a standard Purolator filter casing. So, save your money and pick up one of those, getting a better filter while you're at it. OldSkoolGP
If you're curious about what oil filter to use, this study would be worth a few minutes of your time. http://people.msoe.edu/~yoderw/oilfilterstudy/oilfilterstudy.html
