CutlassSL91 Posted September 18, 2005 Report Share Posted September 18, 2005 OK, I finally rewired the dash correctly so now my panel backlighting works. NOW, when i turn them on, i blow a fuse! Eventually, i'll put one in and it will work for a while, but then i shut the car off, leave it for a while, come back, and the fuse blows. I rewired the headlight ground wire (black) but didn't use connectors. The UB3 cluster dims, but the rest of the lights do NOT. I really need some help on this. CutlassSL91 Posted September 18, 2005 Author Report Share Posted September 18, 2005 ok, this last night i put yet another new 5amp fuse in, and now the lights will light up, but i'm counting on the fuse being blown out eventually again. The digital lights will dim, however, the the backlighting WILL NOT DIM. And last night they were acting weird. They would not stay the same brightness, the intensity kept juumping all over.
