birdman Posted September 17, 2005 Report Posted September 17, 2005 How would be the best way to port and polish a upper and lower intake for a LQ1? i was wanting to at least port match the upper and lower when its off for the o2 sensor. anyone have any experience with doing it yourself??? Thanks. Quote
sonyman87 Posted September 18, 2005 Report Posted September 18, 2005 if you do it yourself buy lots of sand wheel's for the dremel. lots of corse sand paper and of course the finer stuff to work you way up. to a smother feel. the inner manifolds are ruff as hell and almost anything you do will help aslong as you finish it. dont forget dont plan on driving your car for a while b/c its a long process. spend atleast 8 hours on it. believe me it will probably take more then that. i think i put in 20 hours+ in griding my heads and valvecovers.
