93 Grand Prix
I learned something new today, what hte hell is a fuel pressure regulator? http://www2.autozone.com/servlet/UiBroker?ForwardPage=az/cds/en_us/0900823d/80/04/fb/bd/0900823d8004fbbd.jsp
Redfox340
A fuel pressure regulator keeps the pressure in the fuel rail within a certian range so that fuel pump doesn't put too much / little into the lines and injectors. It's located next to the fuel rail, but not all cars are installed with one... but I may be wrong on that account. Otherwise, FPR's are not common for those going out... recap us on your status... what's wrong? Car's not firing; I remember post but never got a clear view of your symptoms and progress... re-direct or re-post if possible! - RedFox340
eclipse5302
If the FPR is bad, it will be spraying out fuel when you take off the vac line while the engine is idleing. Thats about the only sure fire indicator that it is bad. Jason
