jwox Posted February 18, 2003 Report Share Posted February 18, 2003 I recently converted my base digital dash out of my '93 Cutlass to the digital dash with gauges(UB3) out of an earlier Cutlass. It works fine with one exception. I have a white wire that I can't figure out where it goes. It's for the tach and I'm not sure which terminal to put it into to make the tach work. GnatGoSplat Posted February 18, 2003 Report Share Posted February 18, 2003 That white wire won't work for the digital gauges cluster. You need to connect the orange ALDL wire to the cluster to make the tach work. The white wire is the tach signal for the analog cluster and you just leave it hooked up to nothing (find a pin on the digital cluster that's not connected).
