OldSkoolGP
If your focus is the strip and always will be, an automatic is definitely the way to go. Shift kit, maybe or not. Depends who you go through. The 4T60-E is getting a little more of an aftermarket now. 5 speeds are fun, and they can be driven fast at the strip, but they also take more of a beating to be fast. Regal_GS_1989
look under the car and look at your tranny pan. It will say either 4T60 or 4T60-E. Being that you car is a 93, it should have a 4T60-E.
pwmin
no, it wont work. you either have a 4t60 or 4t60e. good shift kits are harder to do on either one since you have to remove the side cover to get the valve body out. you dont have a 4t65e, which it what that kit is for. look for superior or transgo or mr shift.
