digitaloutsider
Would an 18" wheel with a bolt pattern of 5x114.3 and an offset of 45 fit my Cutlass? This is an idiot question I know.
GnatGoSplat
It'll probably rub the front calipers. You'll probably need a spacer. Only way to know on a W-body is to test fit them.
digitaloutsider
The concept of a spacer really bugs the hell out of me. Would it help if I put the '96 front calipers on?
GnatGoSplat
96 the calipers themselves are the same, the only difference is it spaces the caliper out more. For my wheels that helped and gave considerably more clearance, but didn't fix the problem. My wheels are very concave which is why that helped, for other wheels it might not help much at all. I run a 5mm spacer and have never had a problem. No balance problems at all, and no problems with the lugs loosening. You'd probably need at least a small spacer on 45mm offset anyway if you plan to run wider than 225.
