blackbombshell95 Posted September 8, 2005 Report Posted September 8, 2005 What are they? Are there any? Quote
blackbombshell95 Posted September 8, 2005 Author Report Posted September 8, 2005 would 97+ work? I think heldmotorsports.com has some. if the 97+ work then these would work http://www.pfyc.com/store/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=PFYC&Product_Code=WB4003&Product_Count=6&Category_Code=GPSUSP Quote
terryk2003 Posted September 8, 2005 Report Posted September 8, 2005 i don't think there would be enough clearance for those on the a first gen...if they'd even work @ all for that matter... Quote
Euro Posted September 8, 2005 Report Posted September 8, 2005 um STB's??? are whats in that link...try rsmracing Quote
RareGMFan Posted September 8, 2005 Report Posted September 8, 2005 They're not STBs. It's the brace that runs diagonally (like over the top of the battery), from the fender, to the front frame (same frame the motor mount brackets are attached to). Since everything was totally redesigned on the '97 & up models, I doubt it would line up for you to bolt it on, even if clearence wasn't an issue. Quote
Euro Posted September 8, 2005 Report Posted September 8, 2005 oh so the support brace things...i didnt know they made em aftermarket Quote
mfewtrail Posted September 9, 2005 Report Posted September 9, 2005 A few guys have had their stock ones dipped in chrome for a custom look..... Quote
blackbombshell95 Posted September 9, 2005 Author Report Posted September 9, 2005 yeah. i've seen a few guys do that. i wonder about the held motor sports one. Quote
GutlessSupreme Posted September 9, 2005 Report Posted September 9, 2005 these also..... http://www.thewilsonfamily.ca/images/crossbar02.jpg those be mad ugly.. personally I thinkt he stockers look fine, and don't think going with aftermarket pieces would make much of a difference performance-wise either.. there's only so much you can do, and I'd think the stock bars do well enough. blackbombshell95 Posted September 10, 2005 Author Report Posted September 10, 2005 I'm talking fender brackes that look good. the 97+ won't work. I took measurements yesterday. It would be sweet for Aweb80 To make some custom ones. Quote
5speedz34 Posted September 10, 2005 Report Posted September 10, 2005 If I ever get my engine bay to where I like it mine will be dipped or powdercoated for a chrome look. Quote
