jazic3.4 Posted September 8, 2005 Report Posted September 8, 2005 I have a 92 Z34 and I just put the motor back in but it won't turn over? The battery is fully charged. When I turn the key, the main cooling fan relay buzzes like mad and the temp gauge goes to the maximum turning on the dummy light which is located right next to the tep gauge??Both fans are connected to the proper wires but I noticed a wire hanging but not sure where it goes. Its hanging right between the oil filter and the cooiling fans. Its female and has 6 contacts straight across the connector. Only 5 contacts are used (3 on one side, an empty space, and 2 on the other end)with a light blue weather pack rubber protector. I hope this has something to do with the no turn on problem. There is also a red single contact female connector coming off of the positive terminal post. Does anyone know where this goes??[/img] Quote

mihela816 Posted September 8, 2005 Report Posted September 8, 2005 Sounds like the connector that goes to the ICM. that would definetlely make the car not start. Quote
jazic3.4 Posted September 8, 2005 Author Report Posted September 8, 2005 I took a bunch of pictures of the motor out of the car and I noticed that the coil pack has 2 connectors going to it. I looked under the car and found out that yes, this connector goes to the coil pack. Thanks Quote
