ron350 Posted September 7, 2005 Report Posted September 7, 2005 Does any one make a 12-volt tire inflator that works worth a hoot? The last one I used took forever to add a few PSI and made lots of noise and heat in the process. Quote
jeremy Posted September 7, 2005 Report Posted September 7, 2005 I had a small compressor that plugged into the cigarette lighter, and it was loud as all hell, but it did work pretty quickly. Quote
joey b Posted September 8, 2005 Report Posted September 8, 2005 Mine will fill a flat truck tire to drivable in less than five minutes. Takes 2 min to raise one of mine 225/60R16 from 35 PSI to 40 Quote
lakefxgp96 Posted September 8, 2005 Report Posted September 8, 2005 I use a $15 wal mar pump...noisy and slow but still airs up the tires. Quote
ron350 Posted September 9, 2005 Author Report Posted September 9, 2005 Joey B what brand and model compressor do you have? Quote
GnatGoSplat Posted September 9, 2005 Report Posted September 9, 2005 Mine works okay, although I think it did take a few minutes. Has its own battery and also works as a jumpstarter. Makes a good power supply for testing car stereos and other electrical car parts too. I think I paid $30 or $40 from Harbor Freight. Quote
