94base3100
So I found a 1994 Regal in the paper and I might get it. Miles aren't listed but it says it runs good, new brakes, good tires, asking $500 obo, must sell. i'm thinking it has high miles but that doesn't matter much to me. If it is a 3100 I would end up putting a 3400 in it. If it's a 3800 series 1, I would end up putting in a series 2 or a supercharged series 2. Does the series 1 and series 2 use the same mounts?? Any computer differences?? If it runs good, and they only want $500 or best offer, I think it's a pretty good deal unless it has over 200k miles. What do you guys think?? DiscoStudd
If it has the Series I (L27) the Series II (L36) will bolt right up to the car and the tranny. You will be able to run the L36 using the L27's wiring and PCM (in fact, the H-Bodies received the L36 in 95 and they were run using L27 electronics.) http://dtcc.cz28.com/eprom/3800PCM.htm gives a little insight into the PCM's used on the 94-up 3800's. Their main site is http://dtcc.cz28.com/...

94base3100
Alright thanks alot Disco. I'm hoping it's a 3800 series 1 then so the series 2 swap should be a breeze.
