maybe2fast Posted September 1, 2005 Report Posted September 1, 2005 I was looking at some old pics of my Lumina nd was wondering why no one has ever used the STE side skirts like I did. they look awesome. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/436794/2 saw a little length off the front piece, and they will fit awesome. 1990lumina Posted September 1, 2005 Report Posted September 1, 2005 They do look good, but then you would need to find something to make the front and rear bumpers line up properly with the side skirting if you know what I mean. Plus, STE sideskirts aren't something commonly found in any j/ys around here - at least any in good shape. Though it does look great from what I could tell from the pics, I'd need something for the front and back bumper covers to make them balance with the side skirting. Quote
maybe2fast Posted September 1, 2005 Author Report Posted September 1, 2005 its also a good way to cover that very common rear rocker rust on the Lumina Quote
jeremy Posted September 1, 2005 Report Posted September 1, 2005 I always thought they looks very good on your lumina. Quote

I was thinking similar thoughts. I feel a car is a "work in progress" if the cars skirting doesn't line up. Almost the same feeling as I get when I see a car with one piece of a body kit. It sort of gives the impression "Why did you install it if you didn't have money for the rest?". But then again, some ppl like that look. Quote
jeremy Posted September 1, 2005 Report Posted September 1, 2005 if you combine those skirts with a Z34 nose/rear it should line up pretty nicely Quote
J Posted September 2, 2005 Report Posted September 2, 2005 tooting your own horn there Don? LMFAO Quote
Euro Posted September 2, 2005 Report Posted September 2, 2005 haha that car was hottness don! oh and btw...welcome back??? GPXGRL Quote
Baddflash Posted September 2, 2005 Report Posted September 2, 2005 I had them on mine about 2-days after you posted your pics. I had them for a few weeks prior to that. They look good on the car IMO. http://www.w-body.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=16685&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0 Quote
RareGMFan Posted September 2, 2005 Report Posted September 2, 2005 if you combine those skirts with a Z34 nose/rear it should line up pretty nicely Even if it lined up, that still wouldn't look right IMO. The gfx on the Z34 are complete body panels/fillers. They fatten up the bottom end of the car. The STE side skirts allow the bottom to curve inwards like normal, and just extend where the body ends. So the middle part with the STE side skirts would look to "pushed in" compared to the wider look of the front and rear Z34 bumper covers. Quote
maybe2fast Posted September 4, 2005 Author Report Posted September 4, 2005 tooting your own horn there Don? LMFAO new members...new ideas, Jackass Quote

White93z34 Posted September 4, 2005 Report Posted September 4, 2005 i gotta say it would HAVE to look better then when i see luminas with z34 front and rear bumpers and those razzi sideskirts. Quote
maybe2fast Posted September 4, 2005 Author Report Posted September 4, 2005 Jays not going to like that... Quote
digitaloutsider Posted September 4, 2005 Report Posted September 4, 2005 Well it's true.. It's all a matter of opinion. Quote
White93z34 Posted September 6, 2005 Report Posted September 6, 2005 i don't mean offense to anyone whos done that, but i feel if your gona use those sideskirts, then you should also use the corospoinding body kit that goes with them Quote

But if you think the entire razzi kit would look better on my car you need to stop smoking that shitty crack they sell in PA. The STE skirts look great on Dons old car, but would look like ass on mine, they are too small. But whatever Quote
digitaloutsider Posted September 6, 2005 Report Posted September 6, 2005 They got some pretty good crack here.. Quote

jeremy Posted September 6, 2005 Report Posted September 6, 2005 the complete Razzi kit looks like A$$, IMHO of course. I don't mind the skirts on Jay's car Quote
maybe2fast Posted September 6, 2005 Author Report Posted September 6, 2005 and it is expensive as hell Quote
Baddflash Posted November 1, 2005 Report Posted November 1, 2005 Only pics I've got as the car still isn't finished yet. I don't think the skirts are that far off the Z bumpers, I like the way they look. Either way they were only $15 and I think they suit the car. Sorry Jay but better than the Razzi, for the look I want. Quote
