engine swap 96 3.1 monte to a 91 3.1 lumina

I was wondering if a 96 3.1 monte engine will work in a 91 lumina euro

yup...wouldn't need to change a thing really..cept for a few specifics

 

thats not a popular swap, so i dont know the details

Extend a few wires, reprogram the computer, change the throttle cable. Thats what I remember, probably new radiator hoses.

 

3400 is a more popular swap but its the same thing as far as what you have to do.
