GP1138 Posted August 24, 2005 Report Share Posted August 24, 2005 Right, so my power locks suddenly stopped working. I have checked all fuses and all are good. The strange thing is, the auto unlock when I shut the key off still works! But when I put it in D, it doesn't auto lock. Again, all fuses are good, so I don't understand. Any thoughts? jeremy Posted August 24, 2005 Report Share Posted August 24, 2005 I think that your problem might be with your "blue dingie thingie" as it if referred to on PFF. I think the real name is the chime module. There were a few different versions: 89-92 Cutlass/GP/Regal boxes have an additional 2 wire connector on them for VSS input and turn signal input... this gives an audible warning if you've left your turn signal on for something like 1.2 miles. 93 Cutlass/GP/Regal boxes adds more wires to the extra connector to give automatic locking (but not unlocking). 94-96 Cutlass/GP/Regal boxes adds automatic unlocking as well Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
