Hairdo12 Posted August 23, 2005 Report Posted August 23, 2005 I am fully convinced the front brake hose on my 92 lumina could never be put on twisted (ie you change front brakes and the front caliper was turned around 360 degrees). Has anyone ever seen this or done this to their car? Would the car drive for seven months without a problem? It just seems to me the hose does not have enough flex or slack on it for it to be possible... and not have the thing kink or tear when the wheel is fully turned. I don't wanna have to take the thing off and try it myself just yet. Any ideas? Quote
herb427sc Posted August 23, 2005 Report Posted August 23, 2005 Yes, you can put the caliper on twisted. Take off wheel. Remove two caliper bolts. Remove caliper. Re-assemble. Quote
luzmina Posted September 2, 2005 Report Posted September 2, 2005 Fix that as soon as posible, it happens to me and one year later the hose blow out lossing almost all brake power, very scary almost have a crash, that is the worst experience I have in my Lumina. Quote
jeremy Posted September 2, 2005 Report Posted September 2, 2005 I would defintely check that out asap, no need putting your safety at risk over something so simple Quote
