A/C airflow diverts to Defroster outlet when I accelerate. Why? Also water on driver side floor when A/C on; but not when A/C off. Why? :(

1.) The vacuum check valve is shot. Look for it near the driver's side underhood fuse panel (it's a 3-way valve so look for the little piece that connects 3 vacuum hoses together.)

 

2.) Sounds like the evaporator core condensate drain is plugged. I haven't had to deal with one on any of my W-Bodies before, but I'd look for an open hose sticking out near the firewall. All you'll probably have to do there is jam a piece of wire up in the hose to clear it out.
