I got my "Mr Transmission" kit for $60CAD at Canadian Tire. They have them in 3 sizes, very easy to install it comes with everything you need.

are they worth the hassle of putting one on?

are they effective as they say at helping the tranny last longer?

pretty easy, 45 mins or so, you may need an extra qt of ATF since youll be filling the cooler with some of the fluid now.

i see the one they have on PFYC is supposed to fit on stock holes. etc will mots be this way or will there be some fabricating/modifying

Very easy to install. Any kit should bolt right on.. the hardest part is just finding where you want to put the cooler. The just cut the rubber hose to the right lenghts. I put my cooler in front of my rad, by the passenger side (dunno if that's the best place but it was the easiest).
