bluegp
A unit like this: Has anybody ever thought of trying it? They are 1.5 DIN, so they would probably physically fit with some homemade brackets. It would have a factory look (I'm not a fan of the aftermarket look) and lights up green like the Chevy units. The one pictured has an equalizer while the the '94-up Chevy Theftlocks do not. Some are "Infinity" models but look the same as the regular one - I wonder what the difference is. Does anybody know if these are any good?
DiscoStudd
http://www.installer.com has reverse harnesses, so you can buy a harness that'll plug into that radio, then connect that harness to a GM aftermarket harness and it'll be plug-n-play. FWIW, my parents used to own a 92 Dodge Conversion Van that had the Infinity stereo (with the "joystick" fade/balance control.) It was a damn-sweet sounding stereo! I have no earthly idea if it had any external amps hidden anywhere, but regardless it sounded excellent...
1990lumina
Ours light up green? All my buttons light up white...maybe you are talking about the display lights up green?? Anyway, looks like it could be done, though my dad had an Infinity system in his Dynasty and is kept breaking is I don't know how much more reliabe they would be compared to Delco?? But that car he had was a lemon, so everything broke on it. It's turned my mom completely away from Chrysler.
