Can i take the a/c compressor off or does it have to stay on

I was going to take all the a/c components including the compressor or the turbo 3.1 and put them on my n/a lumina. My question is does the a/c compressor pump the oil to the turbo or no? Is it safe to take it off?

The A/C compressor has absolutely nothing to do with the turbo or intake system.

I think you might have to get an A/C delete pulley, I'm not sure where to go about getting one.

get the AC delete pulley. it's only $22 at the GM dealership.

keep in mind the wiring harness in your '93 Lumina will not plug into your '90 AC compressor! AC wiring changed from '90 to '91. i found out the hard way when i swapped my 5-speed in and used a '90 GP 3.1/5-speed wiring harness in my '91 Cutlass. IIRC it can be modified to work though.
