kfahn
Has anyone done this, and if so, how? Pictures/detailed explanations always help!
kfahn
not sure if this is true for my car. It came with 5.25" there already and I am looking to put 6.5" round in there, not 6x9
kfahn
see, that's my problem, I am not sure how to mount them, hence me asking
1990lumina
I bought 6.5" MB Quart for my car, and they were way to much work to put in (cutthing the door frame all up) Do a small search, because I know I have asked before, and I got some pics posted and stuff. I believe you have to make a spacer out of mdf plywood and then cut it to fit the speaker. It seems like a hassle, but apprent;y it will sound alot better. I'm happy with the 5 1/4" MB Quart I bought after returning the 6.5". My back speakers do all the hitting, my front ones are for better high notes, so the size of the woofer doesn't matter *as much* in my set up because I'm not trying to get any bass out of the 5 1/4" in t he front. kfahn
I did a search before I posted, but couldn't find anything, and I looked under your sn too for something to do with the 6.5" speakers, and I couldn't find anything. If you could find the post, feel free to put up a link
