The Official W-Body Production Numbers Thread

Recommended Posts

Posted

After sifting through 20+ pages of search results, I thought we could all post any production numbers we have in one spot, to make future searching easier (especially since there aren't too many websites that have this information).

I DON'T HAVE ALL THE NUMBERS! This is a collaborative thing; everyone just post the info that they have here for everyone else to see!

So, here's what I've got:

Total 1995 Grand Prix: 131,835

Total Grand Prix Coupes: 58,896

Total Coupes with B4S GTP Package: 9,256

Total Coupes in 41U Black: 8,230

And from this info, my *ESTIMATE* of black '95 GTPs: 1,288.

To get numbers on your car:

Grand Prix: cac@pontiac.com

Regal: http://www.buick.com/contact/email/

Lumina/Monte: http://www.chevrolet.com/contactus/emailus/index.jsp

Cutlass: http://www.oldsmobile.com/olds/contactus/cont_Email.html

Make sure you have your VIN handy.

Here's the deal: if you've got some numbers, post them here, so that the next guy with the same car that's wondering how many there were can find the info here. I myself don't have any more info than what I posted.

Ross, if you want numbers for your RPE, email Pontiac Customer Services and they'll tell you. I sent in my query at 3:30 p.m. yesterday and the response was in my inbox when I got to work this morning.

And by all means, post their reply here. :D

I am amazed as how some people don't understand the search function I search for "Production Numbers" and I got 39 total threads not 20 pages. Anyway I think trying to put them all in on thread is a good idea.

I emailed them about the 1993 Pontiac GP's, I'll post as soon as I receive a reply. I wonder what they'll think of my mileage entry...244,614.

I emailed Chevrolet and someone wrote back that out of the 82,766 Luminas built in 1994....only 7,033 were painted Light Driftwood Metallic.

So my car's color represents less than 8% of all the Lumina's built in 94 :D :D
