fastbird232 Posted August 8, 2005 Author Report Posted August 8, 2005 Yeah, I remember with my old car that there was a site with all the Cougar/Thunderbird ones listed (full articles), I was hoping it was a common thing. What my main concern is, is the rear brakes being clamped shut all the time. I want to tell the Midas guys exactly what to fix so they don't go tearing the whole system apart looking for it and charge me a couple hours of labor. Quote
Justin Posted August 8, 2005 Report Posted August 8, 2005 Sounds like your e-brake cable or calipers are siezed. There aren't any TSBs for that concern on a '95 GP. 01-05-23-001A 03/01/2003 Brakes - Brake Rotor Lateral Runout Correction 00-05-22-004 05/01/2000 Brake Fluid - Level & Filling Recommendations 73-50-37 01/01/1998 Brakes - Rotor & Hub Flange Cleaning Tool Revision 23-50-05B 11/01/1997 Brakes - Rotor Warranty Service Procedure 73-50-26 08/01/1997 Brakes - ABS Light ON, DTC 46 & 86 (C1246 & C1286) 535006 05/01/1995 Front Disc Brake Rotor - Specification Change 535007 05/01/1995 Rear Disc Brake Rotor Specifications - Revision 535010 05/01/1995 ABS - Lamp ON/DTC's 42 and 86 Set 435009 12/01/1994 Brakes, Front - Pulsation Diagnosis, Correction, Repair Quote
