92 GP
weeellll.... the bill for the GP in the past couple months; tranny - 200 calipers - 70ish intrax springs/birchmount - ~265 shipped kyb's - $181 shipped new carpet - 130 tools to attempt to fix R&P - 65 ('crows foot' and new ratchet/deep socket 18) GRAND PRIX side skirt decals from ClubGP Store ~$28 passenger seat bracket = $25 K&N filter ~$30 tranny fluid and gasket/filter = $20 RF 1.0F cap/dist. blocks/battery terminals - $65 new R&P, tie rod ends, PS line installed - damn close to $520ish I didn't have time to install it, so i just took it to a shop...which i felt really bad about...but oh well. At least the part and labor is warrantied! I had to make a 3 hour trip the next morning...and i knew i didn't have the facility to knock out a R&P install in less than a day. new tires up front - $40 (guy had them laying in his garage for a while...i've had them on for the two months, no problems!) started working at O'Rielly synth. oil and filter - $25 polyurethane bushings for antisway bar (two pair) - $25 various other shit (gasket, wiring, blah blah blah) = ~ $30 very near future front struts rebuilt with KYB's intrax - ~$200, unless my old boss will do it for me, then probably around $50-75 so, actual cash spent so far = $1654 proposed total = max of $1854 that's hella cash for a 17 y/o in two months! i can't wait till it's all done

THe_DeTAiL3R
I've put more than that into repairs.. probably around $2000US give or take. It would have been nice to have spent some of that into things like tint and upgrading stock speakers, but I'm not dumping any more money into this POS anymore than I have to. Invasion1- the carpet is a DIRECT fit. It's solid black, it's got the underpading on it as well. It's molded, but ya gotta cut the holes. No biggie though. Just lay it ontop your stock carpet and have at it! Then vacuum afterwords I'll hit ya up with a PM
Euro
that sounds like what i did for mine....in the first 4 months or so i did about that much amount of repairs....not decals and carpet and whatnot..motor repairs now the car hasnt been in the shop since my balljoints back in june

I know installing motors can be a PITA, but hell, saves ya lots of money. I only spent a grand total of i think $60 on my transmission swap! I bought one for 200, sold my old one for 175, then bought the fluid/filter. A shop would have charged well over $1000, i know that one, my mom had called around for whatever reason. I however did have time to do the swap, and i'm broke..so i kinda made the time
92 GP
teaser pics! the new carpet is dirty because i set the old carpet on top of it to cut the holes, but i'm gonna drop in the new carpet tonight when i finish wiring up a couple more things! Then i'll go to the local wash and use their vacuum. My friend fucked up my shopvac. it didn't have a filter and he used it anyway, so all kinds of shit got stuck inside of it another angle
92 GP
haha...and the big mess under the car, that's still all there from the transmission swap
JakeMetz63
I dont have the equipment to do it myself, but my friend who can do that kind of shit needs parts for his Trans Am, so I offered $500 and he said its cool.
