92 GP
well! I've been concentrating on my suspension lately...and we're going to see how all this shit affects my handling. I have KYB GR2's, as well as the intrax and birchmount spring laying around...then i picked up new polyurethane anti-sway bar bushings. Some of you probably read that I wound up getting a new Rack and Pinion...which is a pretty sweet responsive new system! No play in it at all, nice and tight! Hopefully within the next couple weeks i'll have the front struts rebuilt with the cartridge and intrax springs..then i'll bring'er home and put on the rear KYB's and the birchmount. Most likely i'll be doing the polyurethane bushings this weekend. I've got friday off, so i'm doing a tune-up on the GP. since it sat for about four months...i'm tuning it up! I also got a job at O'Rielly (first day was monday) so i'm already taking advantage of the discount Royal Purple pure synthetic oil (5 quarts) and ACDelco oil filter - $24.xx I'm pretty damn happy about that. I also got a new water pump (with lifetime), thermostat, some paint to re-touch up the engine bay, the polyurethane bushings, all kindsa other good shit. Came out to like $30!!! So that'll do it for my front susp. for a while. I already have the FE3 susp, so i've got the massive ASB. Anyone know where I can get the larger rear anti-sway bar? I know the trailing arms can be ordered from gmpp, as they are interchangealbe with 97+, correct? I also picked up brand new calipers...and i'm going to order the SSbrake lines very soon
Robby1870
yeah, the trailing arms are interchangeable with the 97+s. Actually, the rear sway bar on a FE3 car isnt that big compared to the FE1 (14mm to 12mm). However, there is a 3/4" rear sway bar out there. I cant think of the name right now, but plently of people on here have it or have tried it.
92 GP
k awesome. I knew the FE3 rear bar looked kinda shitty...it's too damn thin to make hardly any difference. And i knew i had heard of a fat-ass rear bar out there somewhere. IIRC it was AWeb80 that has it..i'll have to hit'em up

AWeb80
yes, you'll want the rear STB that i make.... ADDCO makes the sway 7/8" sway bar.
92 GP
i never mentioned your rear sway bar, but i've really been thinkin about it, and yea i know i'll wind up gettin one Where did you get the addco sway bar from???
DiscoStudd
I've heard that you can use a swaybar from a 95-99 Monte/Lumina. They're plenty thick, due to those cars having coil springs and no monoleaf to act as a pseudo-swaybar. Do you, by chance, know what the part number was for the rack that you installed in your car? Or actually, what car was it meant for? I actually want to get my hands on a TGP steering gear/PS pump when I swap in an L67 drivetrain into my Regal, and was hoping someone knew a part number or 2 ...
