Ok im really confused, i have my front intrax springs coming, i have my ffp coilovers, i have my kyb's, i have mt gmpp trailing arms, what is this VALENCE piece that people say so watch out for when i lower the car. i know about everything else about cars except for the valence peice, can somebody tell me what it is, does, and anything else i should know

They are referring to the lower peice of the front bumper cover on the 1989-1993 Grand Prix's. The valence attaches to the underside of the bumper and is prone to sagging over time. This sagging makes it easier for the valence to be broken off by careless parking or dips in roads. Lowering the front end of these cars only make the problem worse since it puts the valence even closer to the ground.

 

Or, in short, you don't have anything like that to worry about on your cutlass.
