Technics
I have a problem hope somebody can help!! It appears as though when my DRL's(or headlights are on) I lose my dash\ radio lights and my AC won't function. Could this problem be linked to the DRL's sensor( I believe it's called a twilight sentinel)or modulater? If so where do I find it and how do I fix it! The car in question is a 1996 Cutlass International Coupe w\ 70,000 kilometers 3.1. Your comments are appreciated.
Turbocharged400sbc
sounds more likely to be a ground problem... when the increased draw of the headlamps are on the resistance that is created from the extra load (voltage drop test to determine this) will make the other circuits weak... acording to my Mitchell Ondemand... on a 96 Cutlass supreme the headlamp switch/HVAC/ and instrument panel lights all ground at G202 which is located (LEFT SIDE OF I/P, NEAR BRAKE PEDAL BRACKET) check for voltage drop at this ground and then clean it and the terminals/bolt this will probably fix your problem...
