GrandPrix34 Posted August 2, 2005 Report Posted August 2, 2005 Anybody konw the part number or have a front timing chain cover they are selling? My timing belt tensioner bolt completely threaded the hole out so now i can literally push the bolt into the hole! what do you guys think is a good way to fix that? Obviously the hole has gotten too big to re-thread so my idea to sovle the problem was by replacing the front cover...any thoughts or suggestions to this matter..... by the way, I'm back after a long absence. I was in mexico for awhile for a family emergency and after that I can truly appreciate how i live here. In other words, you ever have no running water and have to shower with buckets of water? How about flushing the toilet with a bucket of water? !!!!! Quote
GOT2B GM Posted August 9, 2005 Report Posted August 9, 2005 I would go to a wrecking yard to buy that part. Much cheaper. Quote

Aaron Posted August 10, 2005 Report Posted August 10, 2005 I do not know what exactly it is you are describing, a pic would be great. But I can say there is about a 100% chance I have an extra one you can buy, I just need to know what exact piece it is, and the year of your motor. PM me or email me. AaronZ34@gmail.com Quote
