Dannymik Posted July 24, 2005 Report Posted July 24, 2005 and how many miles have you put on this rebuild? Also was it a private garage or one of those well known shops? I would also cause a seen on this! Quote
z34Phoenix Posted July 24, 2005 Author Report Posted July 24, 2005 i'd say 2000-3000 miles. it was a well know shop in area. it came with a national warrenty Quote
Dannymik Posted July 24, 2005 Report Posted July 24, 2005 i'd say 2000-3000 miles. it was a well know shop in area. it came with a national warrenty ok then you shouldn't have a problem if they need to service it. When the car shifts from 1-2 does it feel slightly like your going over train tracks? Quote
z34Phoenix Posted July 24, 2005 Author Report Posted July 24, 2005 no mine feels like it goes into neutral for a moment Quote
Dannymik Posted July 25, 2005 Report Posted July 25, 2005 I'm sure you checked your level and its good, so that doesn't sound like a good thing....hopefully its just a simple adjustment. Quote
cizin Posted July 25, 2005 Report Posted July 25, 2005 Ohh z34Phoenix, you didn't happen to take it to that place on Mason Ave... assuming you are still in Daytona? (Not saying the name) They did my 83 Olds Omega and within 10k it broke. There is a better place called Johnny's Tansmission in NSB. They were wonderful to me and fix the problem that "the other place" won't touch becasue they said I broke it. If you have any problems with them honoring the warrenty, pm me, I will shoot you the number. Quote
z34Phoenix Posted July 25, 2005 Author Report Posted July 25, 2005 yeah im still here i used a place on ISB that one on mason looks like a trash heap! good looking out though thanks. Quote
