BowtieCutlass Posted July 17, 2005 Report Posted July 17, 2005 I brought my car (97 Cutlass Coupe) to get a recall fixed (Powersteering rack Bull) to the dealership. They fixed the car and it seemed fine later that night i feel a extreme loss of power to the point where i put down the pedal and go no where. It also was running ruff like it was Misfiring, it then died on me and would not start back up. Five minutes later it starts and runs fine. This happens now with no warning No Check Engine light or anything. The problem i believe is fuel related but i replaced my Fuel pump and filter a few months ago i also replaced the relay for the fuel pump because i thought that could be the problem but the problem is still there. Any Ideas Would Help thanks Quote

GP1138 Posted July 18, 2005 Report Posted July 18, 2005 I get the same thing once in awhile. It's left me by the side of the road for a good 15 minutes before. Start it up again in around 15 minutes it's fine. Quote

Garrett Powered Posted July 18, 2005 Report Posted July 18, 2005 what Motor? Take it back and tell them they fucked up somthing That may not be a good idea considering that the dealership sells new cars and always fuck up used 2nd hand, 3rd hand cars for fun all day long. Quote
JoroCorona Posted July 18, 2005 Report Posted July 18, 2005 Sounds like the ICM is overheating, giving out, cooling off, and then working again for abit. Quote
