90Luminator
Ok I swear this is the last time i'm gonna post on dogbones. I installed the FFP dogbones yesterday and am very pleased how they lock the engine in place, however when i'm in gear and at a light the vibration is really worrying me. Will it go away? cause if it doesn't I'm worried that the vibrations might shake something loose. Anyone else been in my position? Thanks -Andy
Heza
it goes away.
5speedz34
It probably won't shake something loose. My car isn't tuned yet and it shakes like a mofo! So far nothing loose here yet. The vibration should go away but depending on what kind of shape your lower mounts are in it might not.
90Luminator
Do you guys know what the lower mounts are made out of and how hard they are to replace
Aaron
Hydraulicly filled rubber typically, and they are pretty hard to replace. No offense, but from the sounds of it, not something you should try anytime soon, considering they involve supporting the engine, and tight placement. The dogbone is nothing in comparison. Just remove the nuts, bolts, and slowly jack up on the engine.
Aaron
Getting the new ones in place is a pain in the ass, and it isn't like there is a lot of room, even on the 3.1 cars.
