dohc v6
stop leak will not do anything if the pump is leaking . there are 9 bolts i believe 4 on the outside pulley and 5 on the pump. the pulley you might need a strap wrench. 1 hr and 20 bucks. Heza
well, you couldnt be more correct. 1 hr and $20. you were dead on!
DaveFromColorado
it's 89 in. lbs for the water pump bolts, and I tightened the pully-to-water pump itself for about 110 in. lbs. don't forget to put RTV on the threads of the water pump bolts, as those bolts go into the water jacket, and if not sealed, they will leak again soon. --Dave. FTR: pump bolts 89 in. lbs and the pulley bolts 19 ft lbs per service manual.
DaveFromColorado
yeah, I had a car where i didn't RTV the pump bolts, and they leaked the second I started the engine, it kinda pissed me off. wow, 19 ft/lbs - that's 228 in/lbs, and I thought 110 in/lbs was overkill. --Dave.
