89SupremeCutty
When I went to get gas, I turned off my cutty, put gas in it, started it back up and it started ok and ran fine. I parked it at the little store the gas station has and turned it off. I came back out and it was hard starting, knocked really bad and would stall or struggle anytime I would put the gas more than half down. Im stumped because it didn't knock or anything when i turned it off the second time. Oil pressure was good, even tho it ran like crap. Plugs and wires are about 4 months old. Could it be the crank sensor? Thanks again for the help guys!
digitaloutsider
It sounds like bad gas..
THe_DeTAiL3R
Put a bottle of gasline antifreeze that might help. It sure did when my 1988 GP wasn't running right (bogging and stalling). You might have dirty IAC.
Bossman429
Could be a fuel pump on it's way out. They usually go out when you fill up the tank irronically enough. The only sure fire way to know is with a fuel pressure gauge. It's not likely to be a crank sensor. a bad CPS will cause a crank no start situation, because the ECM doesn't know where the crank is, and therefore doesn't know when to fire the plugs. I would follow the bad gas theory first, and if it doesn't go away after a tank of gas invest in a fuel pressure gauge.
19Cutlass94
try putting some dry gas in, because maybe there was a little water in the gas that you just put in.

89SupremeCutty
Thanks guys, but I'm gonna junk the car :bawl: . I think the timing chain jumped only because of everything knocking and its refusal to run. I guess I don't feeel like putting any more money into it. mihela816
Very unlikely that it spontaneously threw a timing chain at 110K. Especially if you just filled it with gas. Simple cause effect. I'm now a platinum member, and this is post 39000 on powertrain. w00t!
gp90se
let me get this right, your junking a car rather then spending the $.99 for isoheat....
