is it worth me buying a turbo setup to install on a 2.8? and if so, what else needs to be done to make the setup work? i know nothing about the turbo motor...basically i'm just asking if it's pretty much a bolt-on upgrade

A 2.8 would probably handle a turbo just fine. If the kit is much cheaper than buying a TGP motor, I'd think about it. You've already got the 5-speed so the memcal would have to be tuned differently anyways...

And to answer your question, no I wouldn't consider this a "bolt on" upgrade.. little more involved then that.

Nice looking car BTW!

If you can actually find a complete turbo system cheaper than you can a TGP motor, then go for it. (I just find that happening VERY VERY VERY unlikely) I didn't see you had the 282. Beef it up a little bit, and you should have no trouble bolting it up to the LG5.
