ksmmspt Posted July 9, 2005 Report Share Posted July 9, 2005 I just got my "01 Buick Regal and the driver's side power mirror appears to be "peeling off". It automatically dims at night and appears a lot darker than it should. It appears I need to replace it. Is there anyone reputable who parts out newer Regals or other w-bodies? Also, is there a way to replace the mirror portion without replacing the outer housing? I don't want to have to get the housing painted if possible. THe_DeTAiL3R Posted July 9, 2005 Report Share Posted July 9, 2005 I've replaced JUST the glass part of my driver's side mirror, cause the mirror was cracked, cost like $20 at a glass shop. I'm not sure if that's what you are asking since it is "dimming". If it's the guts inside the mirrow you may have to replace the entire mirror.
