brianteel
http://www.l67swap.com has information that applies to both motors. The L36 is slightly easier because you dont need a shortened axle on the passenger side. Harnesses: the best if you are going to use the 4t65E is the 98-99 monte carlo and lumina LTZ. you will still have to do wiring but it makes it more plug and play and keeps it stock looking. you can use the 4T60E trans but you will need to use a 96 regal harness or older. if you want to use OBD 2 wiring you need to use something 96 or newer. you can use a 5spd with both engines. for the L67 i suggest a upgraded clutch and for the L36 i suggest the stock clutch. Also you will need a custom bracket to hold the intermedaite shaft to the block so that it does not flex. also you will need a lumina APV oil filter adapter so the passagerside axle clears. the wiring for this takes alittle more to do because you need the connectors from the 5spd to hook it up and i suggest you remove all the automatic wires. VS All of this can be found on the site and doing a search there will help alot
